This beautiful doll is more or less as-found. All I've done to her is tie her hair back and apply soap and water. She needed a lot of soap and water, as she was filthy, but she came clean -- you may want to do some more cleaning. Message me if you want to see the "before" photos either before you buy, or to have as a record of the doll's history if you buy her, as the difference cleaning made for this doll is amazing.
No splits! Wig is in good shape but needs to be cleaned and restyled.
Here are the issues I've noted -- and please bear in mind that I am a Barbie collector and Cissy is way out of my area of expertise. Please ask if you have any questions. There could be issues I missed, simply because I don't know what to look for!
The big one? She needs to be restrung as her head is super-loose.
I have not tried to bend her knees as they make me nervous. I don't know if they'll bend or not. I leave this up to the buyer.
All other joints bend, but her hips feel "sticky" and are a little difficult to move, so it's hard to get her to sit. She will sit, but it takes a bit of gentle persuasion to get her hips to bend in the right directions. Definitely a bit of age-related wear there.
She has a stain on the back of her arm, see photo. It's not super obnoxious but you can see it.
Face paint is all there. One eyebrow is set a little off to the side -- factory issue. See photo. Skin tone is just little bit warmer/more yellow than the pictures show, but not terribly so.
Missing a few eyelashes; see photos.
Dress is tagged "Dixie Originals of Phoenix." It is not an original Madame Alexander dress but it is super cute. It needs cleaning, and a snap needs to be resewn. The panties and girdle have the usual rotten elastic.
Note: Due to the value of this doll she will be shipped SIGNATURE REQUIRED. Please bear this in mind as you will need to be there to sign for the box. I will pack her very carefully and send her via priority mail.
No international sales, sorry.
